Online Banking News and Updates
Online Banking Scheduled Maintenance First Tech Online Banking is brought to you live. It's a real time interface with the credit union's host processing system. That means Online Banking is subject to down times during any host system maintenance. This occurs on a somewhat regular schedule. Twice during each month the host system is taken out of production for about two hours for system back-ups and data base maintenance. These are scheduled during the late night hours and on a weeknight.
Every 2nd Saturday of each month from 9pm - 7am for system maintenance. *All maintenance times are Pacific Time*
At the end of each month the host system's real time interface is taken down for about 15 minutes so we can run a job that does a series of resets for all of the counters that are used on your accounts. Several times per year our host system vendor supplies us with upgrades to the system. Depending on the types of changes included in the upgrade, these downtimes may last for several hours. When we have a quick fix for a tough bug, we will take down the home banking or bill pay to insert the fix. These are not regularly scheduled, and will be done as needed.
