Stop Payments

Need to put a Stop Payment on a check? You'll simply need to login to First Tech Online Banking and locate the Stop Payment link in the top navigation. Not using First Tech Online Banking? You can start online banking right now. All you have to do is enter your account number and the last four digits of your Social Security Number. Once you're into the system, be sure to change your password for added security.

If you have any problems placing the Stop Payment form within First Tech Online Banking, please call a First Tech rep at 800.637.0852. Be aware, there is a small fee associated with all stop payments (unless your check(s) are lost or stolen).

Before placing a stop payment:

• Ensure the check has not already cleared
• Call 800.637.0852 if you're putting a stop payment on a commercial check or if you need to stop payment on a series of checks
• If you need to report your checks lost or stolen, call 800.637.0852 as soon as possible. If you call after normal hours, listen for the correct prompt to report your checks lost or stolen.
