One of the best things about having any First Tech card with the VISA logo on it is that we monitor that card 24/7 for suspicious activity - and we do it for free. It's just another good reason to be a First Tech member.

Doing that sort of constant check helps protect your credit; especially if you haven't realized that your card or card number has been stolen.

So, what is suspicious activity? Answer: it depends. If you don't buy things online and all of a sudden there are thousands of dollars in online purchases, a red flag is sent up. We attempt to notify you and figure out if the card or card info has been stolen or not. The same scenario works with real-life purchases as well.
