First Tech Rewards

Sometimes value is found in flexibility. For example, some credit cards offer redemption for airfare. This is great if you like to travel. But what if you would rather buy outdoor equipment, books or clothes? Wouldn't a little flexibility be great?

We agree. That's why we're offering First Tech Rewards on our Platinum VISA cards. For only $25 a year you can earn points that you can redeem on airfare, cruises, merchandise and gift certificates for use at several of your favorite merchants. You can even use your rewards points to pay the $25 annual fee.

On July 20, 2009, we’re launching a brand new First Tech Rewards program and website. You can preview the new program options at rewards.firsttechcu.com.

We’re giving you a sneak preview period so you can decide whether to spend your points under the current program or hold them to spend under the new program after July 20, 2009. Here’s a summary of the current and future options.

Please note: To prepare for construction, there will be a one-week blackout period between July 13, 2009, and July 19, 2009, on our current Rewards redemption site. You won’t be able to redeem points during this blackout period. If you’d like to redeem your points under the current program, be sure to submit your request by 6pm PT on July 12, 2009. You can begin redeeming points at the new site on July 20, 2009.
